Shocking.

Or is it?

A new study by the Kaiser Family Foundation addresses 8 to 18 year olds media use. Called Generation M2: Media in the Lives of 8- to 18- Year Olds, it's findings are quite scary. Kids devote an average of 7 hours and 38 minutes using entertainment media across a typical day.

Five years ago it was less than 6 and a half hours a day.
